Some believe that providing small spaces in any home is a big crisis, so how can we put all the furniture we want, and implement all the modern or classic decoration ideas in this small space, especially if that small space is in the bedroom. The truth is that small spaces may be an obstacle to implementing some of the ideas you love, especially if those ideas include large-sized furniture, but small spaces in the bedroom can be exploited with some simple ideas that do not make you feel limited in space and
have a coordinated shape and decor that suits your modern home.
Space-saving
We face many problems with narrow rooms, but the most important of them remains the problem of not having enough space for our furniture needs space-saving and the psychological feeling that the space is narrow and therefore crowded with furniture.
To solve the two problems, here are these ideas, which depend on smart choices of furniture so that we use the space as best as possible, and at the same time give us a feeling that the place is wider.
1-Practically arrange the bedroom:-
The bed in the bedroom is an essential thing that cannot be dispensed with, but it is preferable in small spaces to place it next to the wall so that it does not take up a large space on both sides. Choosing colors is an important matter when designing the entire room, especially the bed. Stay away from dark colors and prefer to choose white in the color of the bed and furnishings, because it will always make you feel the spaciousness of the space, and try to light the room in light colors, and if there is a window, you can put the bed directly under it and it will be perfect.
2- The wardrobe in the bedroom:
The second problem that you may face when designing the decor of your bedroom is how to place the wardrobe, which is usually large and will occupy a large space that you can use to place many things, and for this, you can dispense with the entire wardrobe. Whether you are married or live alone, you can dispense with the closet in your bedroom, replace it with some shelves or small closets, place them in a tidy manner and choose colors and decorations around them that make their appearance tidy and modern.
Having a small room does not mean that we will ignore things that we need in the room, so we will not do without a small desk to get your work done on, or if you need to put a dresser in the room, you can do this with some simple smart ideas. There are many alternatives to large-sized hairdos, which are replacing it with a small shelf, or a small desk and placing a mirror on the wall above it. As for the office, there are many ideas that you can take inspiration from and implement your decor.
3-Smartly providing wall spaces:-
Exploiting the walls is the first thing that you should think about when implementing decor for a small space in the bedroom. You can make shelves inside the wall and put whatever books or small tableaus you want. As for the corners, they are one of the areas that you must exploit in many ways, whether by placing a closet in a corner or some small shelves.
4-Use multi-use furniture:-
As much as possible, try to use multi-use pieces of furniture to save space in the room to put something else. You can use a bed that has an interior space to store clothes, or an extension to a small office. If you have a narrow living room, give up the large coffee table and replace it with separate small tables. You can also choose a coffee table made of transparent glass or clear plastic so that it makes you feel that the place is spacious and that you do not feel the space that it occupies.
5-Use wallpaper:-
Try to use wallpaper in the design of your room's decor, as it is a smart touch that will make everyone who enters the room feel modern and different, and it will hide the narrowness of space with a lovely luster. Make sure to stay away from dark colors when choosing, and at the same time choose simple and calm patterns that are not crowded if you are a fan of calm and simplicity, as they will make you feel not crowded in the room.
6-Furnishings in providing room spaces:-
There are several tricks to give a room a feeling of spaciousness, all of which depend on the furnishings. The first trick is to choose furnishings that are striped across the board to give you a sense of space.
The second trick is to choose furniture and furnishings with colors inspired by nature and close to each other to give you a feeling of comfort and spaciousness.
7-Paints of light colors:
Parents often stay away from light and white paints and white furniture in children's rooms for fear of children spoiling those colors and not being able to clean them well.
But the plastic paints that everyone uses now can be washed with water and cleaned well, in addition to the light-colored paints and furniture that give us a feeling of spaciousness and comfort.
8- Use of lighting:
As usual, if we talk about the design of any place, we cannot neglect the role of lighting in it. It is known that natural lighting is the best type of lighting as it gives a feeling of warmth and spaciousness, especially if the windows are large and the ventilation is good.
But we must use artificial lighting, of course, and it is preferable that we do not put central lighting, but rely on separate lights so that each child can light his lighting if the other wants to rest.
It is also important to take care of good lighting for study time to maintain focus and children's eyesight.
